RAYNER RESERVE

Public BBQ

Rayner Reserve presents a well-maintained family destination that caters particularly well to toddlers and very young children. The playground features secure fencing with locked gates, creating a safe environment where parents can relax while their little ones explore. The equipment design favours the 18-month to 2-year age group, with appropriately scaled apparatus that builds confidence in emerging walkers. Older children aged 3-5 may find the climbing structures challenging, as the lower access points sit quite high. However, a ground-level slide and swing set provide accessible options for smaller visitors. The adjacent expansive oval offers excellent space for ball games and dog exercise, making it ideal for families wanting to combine playground time with outdoor activities. Ample parking ensures easy access, while the well-thought-out layout allows families to transition seamlessly between structured play and open field activities. The reserve demonstrates thoughtful council planning, prioritising safety without compromising on fun for its target demographic.
